It's the end of term and oh mah goodness did you guys totally rock WB this month!!! YOU MAKE ME SO PROUD :3

Hello bbs! Ing/xfortytwo posted a notice about end of term dates in the main comm. I've decided that I will extend the month to end on May 1st, 2359 UTC, so that you all have another week to write fic for points counting towards Term XIX and also because it seems weird to me that even though 6/7 days are in April, the points will count towards May.

There is a survey here that I'd love for you to fill out, if you could. A small bribe is attached to it~ Thank you to those who have already given your feedback; I'm really grateful for your blunt honesty and I'm sure that it will help the next mod (whoever it may be) greatly next term.

Information:

- FAD lasts from 0000 UTC to 2359 UTC, 23rd April 2011
- Fics posted during this time do not have to be for a challenge
- No matter what, fics will be given full points
- The only requirement is that the fic should be written in 30 minutes and be HP-related
- Please tag your posts with the !fic-amnesty tag

As the month for this term officially ends tomorrow (Sunday, 24th April, 2359 UTC), this is a great chance to earn some points! :D

1. Fic Amnesty Day
FAD will be held this Saturday, 23rd April 2011, 0000-2359 UTC. You can post any fic as long as it's written within half an hour for full points, i.e. there is no need for the fic to fulfil any challenge. More information will be in the post itself :)

2. Monthly Challenges
Speaking of challenges, both of April's have been posted. Challenge #91 - Brittany has been going on for the past fortnight, and I'm glad to see all the stories so far~ Challenge #92 - Cockney Rhyming Slang was posted a few days ago. It's a little tricky to understand, but remember that if you complete both April challenges, you earn another TEN points for your House.

3. Points
Speaking of points~ please to be looking at the rules for the points system. I have a spreadsheet, so it helps on my end but just to clarify a few things:

> there is a 125 points cap per week for raw fic alone
> there is a 100 points cap per month for bonus items
> bonus items points do not count toward the 125 weekly cap

4. Modly modly modly
I have to apologise on not keeping up with bonus items/tagging issues. I'm sorry. I could go on about how rl things are messing me up, but I won't. Don't worry, I'll do all the tagging and things ASAP.

I've thoroughly enjoyed being mod for Writer's Block this term, mostly because of you people who make my day by actually writing for the crazy prompts I come up with each month and for not berating me for being a fail!mod sometimes. Thank you all for a wonderful term, during regular weeks AND Hogsmeade AND the fic exchange. I will be reapplying for WB Mod again for next term, and I do have things planned already that will make WB more structured. However, if you do want to take a shot at modding this awesome community, please do apply! If you have any questions about how this comm is run etc, feel free to PM me. I'm friendly, I promise XD
